Caricatures Ireland

I watched the original unadulterated Star Wars trilogy with the kids again last week, which I have on DVD. I simply do not recognise the abominable meddling George Lucas has visited on the Original Trilogy, and the prequels make no sense at all, and are similarly consigned to my mental dustbin.
However, watching Star Wars reminded me of seeing a young actor who would have made a perfect young Obi-Wan Kenobi: JJ Feild. I saw him in Jack and the Beanstalk: the Real Story, and his likeness to a young Alec Guinness is uncanny. If you’ve ever seen Guinness as Herbert Pocket in Great Expectations, Feild looks remarkably similar in his scenes in Jack.
He’d look more the part than Renton did anyway.

Here’s a batch of pics from a wedding I did ages ago in Markree Castle, Collooney, just outside Sligo. I’d forgotten all about it until I was going through my old pics today. I’ve done a few weddings there at this stage. I’ll be posting pics from France and my recent weddings (including the four I did this week!) over the next few days.
