Cat Catching a Bird by Naoise

My son Naoise is learning all about WWII, Hitler and the Holocaust in school at the moment. Very impressed with the way it’s being taught. He came home today with his version of Picasso’s Cat Catching a Bird, so not only is he learning cold facts but he’s also being taught about allegory. You can’t beat the ol’ Educate Together ethos.

Aye and the ladies are mad for him too.
I like both. Naoise’s cat has a more conflicted expression, as if it feels remorse for what it’s doing.
I drew a picture like that in school and I put into councelling for 6 months.
But really, that’s just class. What a great system.
