How to make an RSS feed for your Twitter lists

Me on Twitter!Twitter lists are a handy way of grouping people you follow into specialities (I’ve set ones up for artists, journalists, and photographers I follow). I’ve set one up for everyone in Galway: newspapers, theatre companies, sports organisations and so on (if you wanted added, email me or tweet me at @allancavanagh).

I wanted to export this list as an RSS feed so it could be accessible to people who don’t have Twitter accounts. I’ve successfully done this with @GalwayTweets but only after web supremo Frank Prendergast figured it out for me (there’s very little up to date information out there).

Twitter has RSS feeds for your lists, it’s just a matter of knowing where to look. The URL for your feed is

http://api.twitter.com/1/[YourTwitterName]/lists/[nameoflist]/statuses.atom (don’t forget to remove the square brackets).

That worked for me. I hope it works for you!

Late to the party: Touché Turtle #DCCFM

Today’s Draw a Cartoon Character From Memory was Touché Turtle. I’m just in, so I had a go, with slightly more success than yesterday’s Yosemite Sam:

You can see the whole collection here.

Drawing cartoon characters from memory #DCCFM

Illy Nilly has come up with a rather fun Twitter game: every day they’re suggesting a cartoon character that you have to draw quickly from memory, no referencing, no second goes. Today’s was Yosemite Sam:

And my attempt at him here:

Not quite right!

You can see the rest here. Good fun, I’m looking forward to more!
