Wedding Entertainment in Cork

I was entertaining at a wedding in the Garryvoe Hotel in Castlemartyr, Co. Cork on Friday night, before making my way to Belfast for what was the last Irish Blog Awards. *sniff*

Galway Wedding Entertainment!

I was entertaining the guests at a wedding in the Meyrick Hotel recently. I actually had drawn the groom before, at his sister’s wedding! There are some other siblings not yet married, so I may get ’round to the rest of them yet. Waterford Wedding Entertainment!

I was in the Waterside Hotel in Dungarvan for a wedding recently. The chap below kept me entertained as he told me jokes from when he sat down until his wife eventually came looking for him!

Wedding guestbook in case of fire or avalanche!

Galway’s Westwood Hotel was in safe hands on Saturday as a lot of the guests were firemen! Another pet in this one, a massive St. Bernard who actually wears the barrel according to the photos I got (I wonder if there’s brandy in there…) The wedding was themed for Halloween, and the dining room was decked out with carved pumpkins and witches. I also had the best reaction ever to one of my caricatures, one of the guests was screaming laughing so loudly other guests came running to see what was wrong!

Wedding Entertainment in Gougane Barra, Co. Cork

I had the most amazing wedding experience recently. The wedding was in Gougane Barra, West Cork, in a small oratory by the lake.
That. Looks. Like. This.

The hotel was right beside the lake too, a lovely wee family-run place full of antiques. I had to laugh when I saw the cake as the couple were quite specific about the inclusion of their pets in the signing board:

The manager mentioned I might like to look at the cake!

Brilliant work, I’ve no idea whose it is but thought it deserved a mention!

Once the call to dinner had been sounded the manager came over to me and said “there’s tea and sandwiches for you now in the bar.” That really made my day!
