I was jokingly offered Italian bonds as a booking deposit for a wedding recently, but stated my preferred currency instead. The above arrived with the booking form today. Day made! (There was also a cheque enclosed as it may be a while before I get to do any intergalactic travel.)

I was entertaining the guests at a wedding in the Radisson Hotel, Galway recently (gotta love the local ones!). This was the same day that Roast Stuffed Aborigine was on the menu but unfortunately I didn’t stick around to sample it.
