The cartoons below appeared in Health Links, a quarterly newspaper published by the Health Promotion Unit of the HSE Western Area. The McSlaintes and O’Tinns were created to explore health promotion in an informative and entertaining way. They’re friends- but with slightly different ideas about what’s healthy and what’s not! Subjects covered were A&E overcrowding, men’s health, childhood obesity, avian flu, breastfeeding, breastcheck and women’s health, diet, early childhood caries, and exercise.
