Clontarf Castle Hotel Wedding Caricatures: sometimes I file photos from a wedding away to post on my caricature blog later, and sometimes they fall down the back of the couch a wee bit! These wedding caricatures were part of the drinks reception entertainment at a wedding in Clontarf Castle Hotel in Dublin. They went down a storm and many of the guests were in more stitches than a couple of seamstresses having a race. Caricatures are great drinks reception entertainment and sitters get a lovely memento of the day. All sheets of paper are printed in advance with the couple’s names and the date of their wedding, which wedding guests always comment is a nice touch. There’s a free elastic band too, sure people love stationery! Using pencil, indian ink Pitt Pens, thick graphite sticks, and 200gsm A3 paper, I capture the caricature likeness in an average of 3 minutes.
