Something I’m really looking forward to post Covid-19 lockdown is getting back into corporate entertainment, socially distanced or not! I’m usually placed over 2 metres away from my subject but for extra peace of mind I am fitting my easel with a perspex screen and I’m undertaking certified Covid-19 Officer training so I will know all about working safely and hygienically. I’ll still be able to chat and have the crack with my sitters but it’ll add an extra layer of safety to my live caricatures.
These caricatures were from a Paris-themed event in the Great Southern Killarney in 2018. A different time I know! As you can see live caricatures at your corporate event are an excellent branding opportunity as these original pieces of art are hung in the halls of houses the length and breadth of Ireland! This selection of caricatures comes from a 3 hour session (I do 2, 3, and 4 hour sessions) with each caricature taking just 3 minutes. I know I’m fast!
I always have great fun with my sitters and it’s something I’ve missed greatly over the last few months, given that I’d be interacting with hundreds of people a week when things were normal, between weddings, family days, staff barbecues, client nights and other events. We’re not there yet but we will be able to return to some normalcy in the near future so expect to see conferences and other events trickle back in later this year.
