Letterkenny Wedding Entertainment: I was close to home* last weekend for this fabulous wedding in Donegal’s Mount Errigal Hotel. It was my first time in the hotel (not to be confused with Cavan’s Errigal Country House Hotel where I have definitely been before!) It’s a cracking venue with a lovely cheery sunlit atrium-style bar area which was an ideal spot for me to set up. It was the perfect perch for the wedding guests to spot me when they arrived for the drinks reception and these guys were well up for a laugh and I had my first sitter in seconds. The drawings were flying out of me and you can see a selection of the wedding caricatures I did on the day below. Afterwards I was able to catch up with my friend Seamus Devenny whose Donegal wedding band Yeti were playing at the same wedding that evening, the first time we’ve both been on the bill at the same wedding!
