Dunraven Arms Hotel Adare Caricature Wedding Entertainment

Limerick wedding entertainment caricatures by Allan Cavanagh
I was in Limerick yesterday entertaining guests with my fast caricature art in the Dunraven Arms Hotel in Adare. It was my first time in the Dunraven Arms, which is strange given the number of weddings I do all over the country! I had a very warm reception from the staff and management which is always nice! It was my first wedding of the year too so it was nice to blow the cobwebs off and start talking to people again, instead of just being in front of the drawing desk as I was for January and half of February! I bought a new box easel and roller display so it was my first wedding with that new set up. I wish I’d bought a box easel years ago. They’re perfect for what I do, all my pencils, Pitt Pens and graphite are in the drawer in front of me. I adapted it a little when I bought it too so I have a flat board to draw on (there was an extendable arm there when I bought it first). The roller display works well too, people can see what I’m all about from a distance!
