Royal Marine Hotel Wedding: Here’s a gallery of some of my live wedding caricatures from a recent wedding in Dublin! It’s sometimes presumed I only cover the Galway area but I provide a nationwide caricature service from Dublin to Clifden, from Beara to Inishowen, and everywhere in between! Dun Laoghaire is a really beautiful part of Dublin and I really enjoyed getting to draw caricatures in this really splendid hotel. It’s very much from another era with a real old-world charm and has quite the claim to fame: Laurel and Hardy stayed here in 1953 when they were performing in the Olympia in Dublin! there are many photos of them around the hotel. I was in exalted company in the name of entertainment!
I got to draw many many guests over the course of the evening, my live caricatures went down an absolute storm with the wedding guests. The caricature gallery below is just a few samples of the multitude I drew over the evening. I managed to capture a few laughs and twinkles in the eyes in the photos below!
My live caricatures take just 3 minutes and the paper is printed with the names of the newlyweds and the date of the wedding.
