50th Birthday Gifts Ireland: This is a recent framed caricature gift for a birthday. The subject is a keen photographer and won an RTE Weather photography competition which I included in the background. Also in the background are signposts with places she has visited. She’s a big reader hence the pile of books in the foreground. I’ve also included her pet goldendoodle (he’s a big fella!). Apparently when he’s hungry he howls at her so he’s pushing his food bowl towards her while howling! The subject makes lots of to do lists (I should really get in on that myself!) and is also fond of line dancing, so I’ve put a line of dancers in the back! Below you can see the framed finished piece of art before it was packaged and shipped by Carabay here in Galway. Frames are by The Framing Loft on the Tuam Rd.
