My digital caricatures introduced last year are proving very popular as an engagement present from friends! I started doing them as a pivot (as they say) in response to the pandemic effectively closing me down for months and they’re going down very well! They’re drawn in Procreate and delivered straight into your inbox where you can have it printed yourself or gift it virtually as a jpeg. Through email they can go anywhere in the world so you don’t have to worry about sluggish international post or container ships getting stuck in the Suez Canal! The couple above are pictured on their favourite beach with their pet dog. They’re wearing Carlow and Waterford GAA jerseys and there’s musical references with a guitar and Beyonce!
Personalised Wedding Signing Board Caricatures: this caricature was for one of my canvas wedding signing boards for a wedding last December. It features the couple with their interests in GAA, going to gigs, reading, and also present is their pet dog! The hotel they were married in appears in the background.
I got some nice feedback from the customer on it too:
“That signing board you did for me went down an absolute treat- they were thrilled with it, thank you so much.”
This digital caricature was a Christmas gift for the pictured chap and features his pet dog and his favourite shirt! My digital caricatures are supplied by email, have a short turnaround time (there’s no postage involved!) and can be printed yourself, or just delivered digitally (they make great avatars for social media and LinkedIn profiles). As they’re contactless they’re the perfect gift during lockdown. If you’re looking for a funny gift with a quick turnaround time drop me a line today!

It was executed in pencil, Pitt Pen and graphite on paper. I had one photo to work from but the dog’s personality really shone through and I could tell he’d been a cherished member of their family. I’ve commemorated several family pets this way, including pets that weren’t around at the same time but that their owner wanted them all depicted together. It’s a very special bond people can have with their pets.
Here’s the second part of my recent roundup of 2019 wedding caricature signing boards. You can see the first part here.
