Blackrock Cottage Weddings: I brought my brand of hilarious wedding caricatures to this recent celebration in the Blackrock Cottage Salthill Galway on a fine summer’s evening in August. Each caricature in the Blackrock Cottage Wedding gallery you see below was drawn in just 4 minutes per couple on personalised A3 paper.

As they say themselves, Blackrock Cottage is a truly unique and intimate wedding venue in a spectacular setting, with a cosy atmosphere and a romantic meal for fine wedding memories. It was my first time in this quite new Galway restaurant wedding venue, and I got a room that opened up on to the sunny terrace where the guests could congregate.
I shared this space with the musicians who’d travelled from Westport to be there, whereas this was one of the rare times I’d travelled 10 minutes from my home in Rahoon! It was a fantastic bright indoor space and I had loads of sitters and a huge audience who really got in on the craic with me!
I even got drawn myself by one of the guests while the rest of the wedding watched, so I was on the receiving end of the caricature fun for once! Thanks Grainne for my caricature, I’ll treasure it always!
