Dublin Caricature Artist for Weddings: Allan Cavanagh in the Castleknock Hotel!

I was recently back in the Castleknock Hotel Dublin where I drew caricatures of the wedding guests for 2 hours non-stop! Each couple you see here took less than 4 minutes to cries of “you’re finished already?!” With me you get speed, quality, and with each drawing working out around €13, great value for money as well! In advance of the drinks reception I arrive at the hotel about an hour in advance so I can start drawing guests as soon as the drinks reception starts. I set up my easel somewhere central, with 3 chairs (one for me and two for the guests!) I have a roller display and a party light so I’m easily spotted. Once I start drawing I don’t stop for the 2 hours. At this wedding I had a steady queue the whole time, especially as the groom was hunting his guests over to me while I was drawing! 😀 Each page has the couple’s names and the date of the wedding so as well as being great wedding fun on the day, they make a lovely memento of the wedding day too, usually framed and displayed at home by the wedding guests (often the guests I’m drawing are discussing where they’re going to hang the caricature drawing when they get home, while I’m drawing them!)
