Shearwater Ballinasloe Wedding Entertainment: some of my live caricature artwork in Galway wedding venue the Shearwater Hotel. It’s a good thing the hotel has a big lobby because they were queuing out the door for me at this one! Lots of great reactions and the guests clearly had a tonne of fun with me. Each caricature couple takes around 4 minutes so as you can see I get a good few people done in 2 hours! It was also nice having a relatively local wedding for me (I’m in Galway City) so I was home in time for dinner from this one! Not that I’m complaining, I have drawn live caricatures at weddings in every corner of Ireland, and I’ve probably got to see more of the country than most people, especially when my satnav decides to get creative with the routes and I end up some mountainous boreen that hasn’t been touched by a wheel in a decade but I get to see the most magnificent views. My Google Maps is covered in stars for beauty spots I’ve accidentally discovered and keep meaning to go back to!

Each caricature is drawn on A3 paper with the couple’s names and date of the wedding printed in elegant Edwardian script so they make a lovely keepsake of the big day as well as being a lot of fun on the day!
