I’ve been working from some really cool briefs recently and one of them was this joint project between the Galway Cartoon Festival (of which I’m the artistic director) and Galway City Council. This St. Patrick’s Day colouring page/activity page is published in this week’s Galway Advertiser as part of a special pull-out supplement for St. Patrick’s Day. It was a nice opportunity to promote the Galway Cartoon Festival and many thanks to Ruairí Lehmann in the tourism office of Galway City Council for being so supportive and collaborative. You can pick up a free copy of the Galway Advertiser in any newsagent.
Ruairí was also behind the virtual St. Patrick’s Parade I designed the poster for (and another great plug for Galway Cartoon Festival!). There’s been some really cool entries for this and I’m looking forward to seeing it on the 17th March! I know a lot of kids have gotten extremely creative during the ongoing lockdowns and this is a great outlet for their burgeoning talents. The deadline for entries has now passed but children can still take part by drawing their own parades in the above colouring/activity page!
