On the 7th of January 2015, 12 people were murdered at the offices of Charlie Hebdo in Paris. A few days later I was asked to sign/draw in the book of condolences in the Galway Arts Centre and meet the visiting French Ambassador, alongside Tom Matthews and Richard Chapman. I drew the above cartoon. That meeting became the Galway Cartoon Festival.
