Excellent gift shop opened in the Bridge Mills here in Galway called Lolarose. They’ve a great range of ugly teddies like these fellas above which caught my eye. Might have to get a set for myself as a gift for someone…

After the Camp Claddagh gig I was straight out the N17 to the beautiful Cloonacauneen Castle, about 15-20 minutes from Galway, for Maria and Paul’s wedding. It was a lovely sunny evening, and some of the guests I’d actually met in Galway years ago, as well as my friend Orla being one of the bridesmaids. Orla was responsible for painting practically everything in the Macnas Parade, which was the following day (well done Orla!)

I’ll be in the Harbour Hotel this Friday night entertaining Intergroup and then I’ve a wedding on Saturday in Ennis in the Woodstock Hotel. I’ve also got a number of caricatures for birthday and retirement presents on the desk at the moment. It’s no complaint and I’m keeping my framer happy!
