Branded Mugs: the above artwork was a re”fresh” for the Freshly Squeezed with Rob and Laura morning radio show on East Coast FM. The show sends out branded coffee mugs for competition winners and participants on the show and I was asked to create a new version of the classic artwork featuring the two presenters. The artwork features presenters Rob and Laura clinking branded coffee mugs featuring the same scene recursively on the mugs! I got a good few photos of the presenters and from these I developed the caricatures, taking care with the composition too (just enough of the East Coast FM logo had to be visible to be legible at the same time as creating a sense of being in the background of a studio setting). I had to draw the whole thing out with blank mugs, then copy and paste a warped version on to each of their mugs to match the curved contour of the mug! In the background is the East Coast FM logo.
