I was commissioned to do some Christmas-themed shopfronts of various Galway businesses for the Galway Christmas Market coming to Eyre Square this weekend. I’ll be posting them over the next few days. First up is my home-away-from-home Neachtains, and award-winning Artisan Restaurant.
The Galway Advertiser’s front page story this week on Prince Harry visiting Galway for the Volvo Ocean Race finale was actually a tall tale. It seems the Tribune was able to lift the telephone and verify the story while the Advertiser was quite happy to take Cllr. Conneely’s word for it. The front page. 😀
