This week’s cartoon is inspired by my recent re-read of Roald Dahl’s classic The BFG and there’s this whole bit in the book where someone has to plant an idea in someone’s mind using a dream and I was not in the least humourously reminded of any film by Christopher Nolan at all and any inference you might make to the contrary is clearly a suggestion that Christopher Nolan has planted in your mind by blowing a dream in your window during the Witching Hour. The cartoon is drawn badly after the style of Quentin Blake, who is an absolute master of the craft and whose pencils I am not fit to sharpen. If you enjoy my cartoons please share them. There’s a hape of sharing buttons at the bottom of this post, and everything helps, if indeed anyone is still using social media (it’s quiet out there now isn’t it?)
You like movies kid?:
I’ve also done a short silly Halloween animation that was screened on Wednesday night’s Little Cinema in Galway, it went down really well and I’ll be sharing that closer to Halloween itself.
