Guardian cartoon RSS feed sucks

The biggest let down I’ve ever experienced from an RSS feed. I subscribed to the Guardian cartoon feed on Google Reader and all you get is the title, artist and description. No artwork. That’s crap. Fair enough there’s advertising revenue to be made from the main site, but forcing me to click on over to see the cartoon isn’t going to make me click an ad. It’s going to make me not visit.
This totally misses the point of what an RSS feed is for, and if advertising is so important they could easily add advertisements to the feed like Boing Boing does.
