Recalling that groan-worthy moment in our modern-day-Sauron Jeff Besoz’s Lord of the Rings prequel and it’s parallels in some other fantasy media that was popular at a time. Silly naming conventions are a thing in modern takes on high fantasy I suppose?

Hi @Edna, I really enjoyed it up until S7 and then it went to hell in a handcart. Plots abandoned, characters acting out of character, and coffee cups left on set (I’m serious!). I was very late to it and HATED having spent that much time on it in the end. Have you seen Sky’s adaptation of The Hogfather? I absolutely love it.
Thanks for the warning. Not a fan. Watched the first episode to see what the fuss was about. Meh! Prefer comedy so would rather read something Discworld-y by Terry Pratchett.

If you’re going in again it’s good up until after Series 6 Episode 10 then you can abandon it and imagine you’re own ending. 😀

I remember watching about three seasons, but not sure. Stuff about the north, a crow, and khaleesi marching slowly and despotically.
(and thank you!)
House of the Dragon is on one of those Sky yokes as far as I know. How anyone could be arsed with a new series after GoT I’ll never know. How far did you get with it?
Back on the telly? What channel/platform? I never finished it
