There’s a great opportunity for suitable printmakers to have a funded residency in the Australian Print Workshop. Full details for this Australian printmaking residency are here.
Situated in the cultural heart of Fitzroy, Melbourne, Australian Print Workshop’s architect-designed visiting artist’s studio and apartment provides an ideal base for artists, with an array of galleries, cafes and shops at APW’s doorstep.
APW Artists-in-Residence are provided with three weeks ‘rent-free’ use of the APW visiting artist’s studio and residential apartment and non-exclusive use of the professional printmaking equipment and facilities of the APW Open Access Studio, to print their own work.
APW Artists-in-Residence are also offered the opportunity to produce one limited edition print in collaboration with APW’s highly skilled printers, published by APW.
Artists receive a stipend of $3,500 towards the cost of their travel to Melbourne, living expenses and the purchase of printmaking materials.
2018 Residency dates are:
Monday 3 September – Saturday 22 September
Monday 1 October – Saturday 20 October
