Newbay House Wedding: October saw me in Wexford’s historic Newbay House which dates in its modern form from the 1820s. It was a bright sunny October day for this wedding as you can see in the photo gallery below, I ended up having to move because the sun was chasing me and making my sitters squint! I had an absolute ball at this wedding, the guests made a bee-line for me as soon as they saw me, and with that level of enthusiasm I had to match it with my drawings! Plenty of banter and craic before I’d even put pen to paper, which is always a lovely way to start an afternoon’s drawing entertainment!

Each drawing of two people above took just 4 minutes and I got some cracking laughs in the above photos! Each page has the couple’s names and date of the wedding, so each piece of art becomes a lovely memento of the big day, hanging in people’s homes after the wedding!
