Wedding at The Leinster, Dublin 2: last November saw me in 7 Mount Street Lower, Dublin 2, for the first time for this fantastically fun wedding! I love having my regular venues but it’s also very enjoyable experiencing new venues and meeting new wedding coordinators and the Leinster had a very warm welcome for me! Dublin city centre weddings have become very accessible and easy for me to travel to as I get the Citylink coach from Galway city centre to Dublin city centre in a stress-free 2.5 hours with no worries about parking. Even if the venue’s a little out of the way it’s usually no more than a 20 minute walk for me so I even get a bit of exercise in on the way to and from! All my gear packs up into roughly the size of a large suitcase so I just stow that on the bus and then the walk is easy as my gear’s on wheels.
Arriving at The Leinster I touched base with the staff and they helped me find a nice little corner to set up in. When the guests arrived the time just flew and then after the call to dinner I was able to pack up and take the short walk back to my homeward-bound bus! The guests at this wedding were a joy to hang out with for 2 hours and as you can see from the photos below my caricatures got some huge laughs!
