Was home in Inishowen at the weekend and got to see the most amazing sight. Alfie the seal, a pup that was found near death in September with broken ribs among other injuries, was released back to the wild on Saturday. Video below the fold.

Harvey’s Point Hotel entertainment: here’s a wedding I did in the Harvey’s Point Hotel, Donegal a few weeks ago. It’s a lovely lakeside setting and the weather was fantastic. The groom is an officer in the Irish Naval Service, so a lot of the guests were wearing ceremonial swords, which is actually the last thing a caricature artist needs to see.
