This week’s cartoon is an actual cartoon, you know, with moving parts, scene changes etc. Well, there’s some movement. Calling it an animation is generous. It’s more of a static, with occasional wobbles. It’s my first animation and was completed in a few hours using Procreate’s animation tool (not Procreate Dreams, at which I am still staring in incomprehension). I got this idea of a skeleton having plausible deniability for the events in this short animation, and it made me laugh every time I thought about it. I started planning out the short but then I ended up just making it. It’s rough and crude and I showed it at the Little Cinema’s Halloween screening and it brought the house down, which was nice. (I literally submitted it the day of the Little Cinema Screening, not even realising it was that night!). So without further a-booo, here it is. The Rift in the Lift. Turn it up good and loud, especially if you’re in work.
