Dromquinna Manor Wedding Entertainment: it was my very first time in the beautiful setting of Dromquinna Manor, Kenmare, Co. Kerry a couple of weeks ago. Sitting on the edge of Kenmare Bay the drinks reception area had an amazing view of the Bay and made a fantastic base for the wedding guests’ arrivals, where I was set up and ready to get drawing! I had sitters from the start (a couple of friends were gently encouraged to sit for me by their wives!) and of course once the rest of the guests saw what it was all about I had a constant queue right up until the bell for dinner! It takes me about 3 minutes to complete a drawing of two people and there’s always gasps at the amount of detail I can capture in that short time! Many guests commented how nice it was to have the couple’s names and the date of the wedding printed on the paper, and of course I’d have to agree! I love that my wedding caricatures also make a unique form of wedding entertainment as I get an audience while drawing and there’s plenty of chat and craic!
