The bride in this one is a big Harry Potter fan so on went the Sorting Hat and wand! Also pictured are this family’s 3 pet cats, some weightlifting and a football with the Arsenal logo on it. This caricature was then printed on canvas which is mounted on a 40x60cm wooden stretcher by my friends in The Canvas Works in Kinsale and delivered straight to the venue (always good when you can tick one more thing off the list for the couple getting married!) If you’re interested in a personalised caricature signing board for your wedding just drop me a line. They make great wedding presents too!
Canvas Wedding Signing Board: with weddings now back in style my canvas signing boards are starting to move again and here’s one I created for a lovely couple earlier this year. It features symbolic objects from their lives including teaching, science, PE, technical drawing, engineering, and farming (you can see the prize bull in the background!)
When you order one of my canvas signing boards for your wedding, I create a unique caricature from photos of you both and incorporate as many jokes, hobbies and other references as you like. There is a short order form to complete to capture these details as well as your eye colour and hair colour (not always obvious from photos!). You then receive a 40cm x 60cm canvas print on a wooden stretcher, with white space around the caricature for your guests to sign on the day. It can either be sent to your home address or delivered straight to the venue, whichever you prefer. They’re supplied ready to hang but are also suitable for framing. Price at time of writing is €250 including delivery and 2 fine tip black Sharpie markers. You can see this signing board in place at the venue waiting for the guests signatures below! Looks like engaged couples are back planning their weddings for next year and beyond judging by my enquiries! This is a wedding caricature for a Save The Date card this couple were sending out to their intended guests for their nuptials. I supplied the artwork and they printed up the Save the Date cards themselves. They are pictured in their wedding attire in front of a simple bridal arch with a signpost in the background. There is a banner above them for the details of the wedding date. (Note: this is a compressed image for the website. The actual art you receive is 300dpi.) Great to see the wedding industry getting geared up for a big return once we reach the tipping point in vaccinations. I for one have greatly missed weddings and I can’t wait to get back on the road with my live wedding caricatures!

Groomsmen Gift Ideas: this caricature of the groom and his two groomsmen was a gift from the bride! The three gentlemen are pictured in a digger, lorry and with a couple of lambs, reflecting their jobs. Great fun drawing it, and my caricatures are a unique gift for groomsmen or indeed bridesmaids! Caricatures make great groomsmen gifts they will actually use, hanging in their homes as a cherished memory of the big day! These caricatures were individually printed on high quality art paper so each one got their own identical copy.
