This Sunday 17th July Macnas will wend its way through the streets of Galway with This Fierce Beauty, beginning from the Spanish Arch at 20.45, as part of the Galway Arts Festival. The map above shows this years route.

The 2010 Macnas Parade, The Wild Hunt, starts at 2pm on Sunday 18th July at 2pm in the Spanish Arch. The map above shows the route. Possibly advisable to bring a brolly!
Richard Wright is this year’s winner of the Turner Prize, and there’s a Galway connection: Richard’s brother Bill has co-designed and built many Macnas parades and assisted Richard in the creation of many of his works.
